Default 5.2 won't start

Went to start my 99 durango 318ci this morning. It cranks but won't start. New fuel pump 2weeks ago. Getting 50psi. New cap and rotor today. Seems to be getting spark from coil I just might replace it anyway. New battery last year. There is a sensor in the distributor and the leads go to the wiring harness of the injectors, what is this? Any suggestions?

Does it crank or just click? If it's a click check the starter relay then get the starter tested. Test the battery for adequate voltage because even though there's a spark, it may be a weak spark. Try cranking it on WOT and see if that helps.

It sounds like your fuel pump is fine and the pressure is fine so it's something in the engine bay.

The sensor in the distributor is called the "pick up sensor" and also called the "Camshaft Sensor". What I would do is check for spark at the spark plug and narrow it down.
