Default ok i got a problem...just got my durango back from getting fixed

just got my durango back from getting headgaskets done and new bearings put in the rear end ... the guy said its got a slight ticking noise coming from lifters but he said he dont see it being a problem..... and i asked it goes away after it warms up right ?? he said ohh yeah .. my durango always did when you first start it cold it would tick for 10 seconds then go away so i thought nothing of it ... so i went and picked it up alittle bit ago stopped half way home to get gas and i could hear a good ticking noise coming out of the right side head area.. it was ticking kinda bad and when i got home it still was doing it.... i drove about 20 mi and it never went away and is ticking worse than ever.. i am not happy what should i do about this ???

Drive it straight back to the shop that did the work.

Demand that they refund the money you paid them for the "repairs" they did,

AND

Demand that they foot the bill to have a more skilled shop repair the damage they did.

Before you get in their face, give them a chance to make it right. If they don't work with you, then start making demands and make raising hell. Don't always assume everyone is out to get you.

Yeah if its a good shop and they warranty their work, they'll fix it for free of charge. My shop does the same thing and the same thing has happened in the past. Just take it back and let them know and it's sure to be something stupid.

just wanted to post an update for my truck .... after 1650 bucks i got my rear end bearings all redone cuz it was making weird noises bad they pulled it apart and pinion bearing had peaices of metal missing" i seen it myself " ... headegaskets and intake gaskets replaced cuz truck was over heating and they determined there was exgauhst blowing in coolant...later determined heads were warped.... raditor flush.... oil change .. and the ticking noise he said was somthin about timing chains hydrolic tensioners or somthin he found a kit for 350 bucks that had all new timings chains and tensioners in it and somthing that pumps oil to the chains or lifters ??? maybe actuator?? i dunno... my truck will be done monday and i can pick it up ... hope this is it for awhile i just bought this truck in the middle of summer havent even owned it a full year yet... i hope it will be ok now... the truck has 130k on it ... ohh after i sent it back from it ticking bad he said i flip him the bill for the parts and he will take care of the rest .. so i said ok
