But it is cool to see a speed limit sign of 100 !

Until you convert it to MPH of course.

LOL

Hands down you'll will as the V10 - 8.0L is a slow in comparison truck to a 5.9L, in fact I bet all the V8's here would beat me in a race. HOWEVER, let’s hook 13,000 lbs on mine and yours and see if you can keep up with me.

The V10 isn't a race truck, it's a pullin motor made for and torque for working. With it's boasted 310 h, and 450 lbs to torque, but I've heard those numbers are actually low. In fact, the V-10 is a cool concept as 2 cylinders fire in unison meaning it's more like a 5 cylinder then a 10.

LOl true true i can only pull 8000lbs wouldn`t dare the 13.000lbs... your trq is gettin lil closer to what i have ,lol but i`d still lose in pulling even with 515+ftlbs.
V10`s are a good work horse in those trucks better than the Fords V10 from what i`ve heard,,,,,,,

Your build would be one of the only ones that would keep up with your numbers, but even at that other things would probably break.....LOL

Dodge has better numbers but also a bigger motor. 8.0L-488 CDI for the dodge and Ford is a 6.8L-413 CDI. But dodge only has a 8.4:1 compression ratio, so all you have to do is give it air because of design it is REALLY restricted.

Ford numbers are

305 hp to 362 hp starting in 1997-2011 and 420 lb·ft-457 lb·ft respectfully. However those numbers are a little high......IMHO.

Any idea how I can check the switch in order to see if it works or not? I'd like to avoid buying a part that I can't return to the scrapper. Thanks
