2001 Durango AWD Bottoming out BAD??? leaf springs or ?
2002 dodge durango 4x4 slt,do they have spring coils in front.

the 4x4 durangos do not have coil springs in the front, it is a torsion bar based suspension.
there really isnt much you can do to smooth out the ride, you bought a truck now you get to drive a truck

I love the truck ride. You can get some real weak shocks then it is bouncy. Fact is this was a 1st gen suv that started in the 90's, it will ride rough. You can constantly tow and it will ride nicer with the load on.
