Help! P1391 crank/cam sensor code

fixed it! it was the drive plate/flex plate. I filed down the openings where crankshaft sensor reads and it is fine now runs like a champ. The transmission shop that rebuilt the transmission had messed them up when they were installing the transmission the used the holes to turn the engine over by them.

Awesome to hear you got it fixed, sounds like you got into a huge project swaping out drivetrains. It sucks when something small and stupid like that keeps everything from going smoothly.

Just to let everyone know:

It's also called a "Pickup Sensor". It is located under the distributor.
Camshaft sensor
Cam sensor


Also, you have a Crankshaft sensor on the rear of the motor on the passenger side.

Default 2002 durango

i went and swap 2002 to 2003 and now it wont start due to crank and cam sensor i erplace them it still wont start and same code HELP!??
