Ha, I have a tranny with over 200 K on it and the bands were slipping, the additive worked great. An oil change would not have fixed the problem (really?). So you know, it was not the first time I did a filter and oil change on that tranny.

slipping bands get adjusted, that is the correct way to solve that issue

Yeah, slipping bands don't just adjust themselves back into place with some additive. Plus, if the bands were slipping I'd adjust those suckers back into place before I did anything. If the additive solved your problems, it wasn't slipping bands I'm sorry to say.
