I. Hope Someone can help me with this my 2002 dodge durango 4.7 liter automatic ran fine all the way to work which is 80 miles 1 way drove fine turned it off went to work came out for lunch and it turns over no start. I have changed the battery the crank position sensor cam position sensor, fuel pressure is at 49 pounds while cranking. Now After every third crank or so, it seems to wanna kick over starts too but then dies immediately. No engine codes whatsoever.. I am at a loss any help would be greatly appreciated due to it being stuck in a parking garage.....

I had a similar situation caused by moisture in the tank. Have you tried spraying starting fluid directly in the throttle body? If it starts when you do that, you may need to dump a bottle of Heet in your fuel tank to eliminate the water in your fuel.

Sounds like clogged fuel injectors. Either that or you got real bad gas in your tank.

I'd try Heet. Did you use a different gas station that you usually use? I try to stick with branded, high volume stations. Ma & Pop stations typically don't have the resources to keep up with the necessary maintenance. (I have the exact opposite opinion of repair shops though... I prefer small independent shops)

I couldn't agree more and that's what the majority of my clientel was when I had my own shop. The more traffic coming in and out, the longer you have to way and typically they have more people to pay so more likely to pay higher labor fees.
