I have them on my 01 R/T. Used to work with the factory radio but now I have a JVC. Crutchfields sells a module to make the controls work with the JVC HU.

My buttons on the wheel aren't working. I do have the factory radio, cd tape player. Is there a fuse just for them?

I have that option on my 01 D SLT. When I first got it my son was riding with me and would change the radio station because he did not like my music. I would reach back and change the channel....he would look at the radio and change it again.... I would wait and change it again....see where I am going here? Did the same thing with the volume. Took him about 3 weeks to figure out what I was doing. He didn't know about the steering wheel controls.

I haven't seen them is a 1998 have them either. My old 1998 was an SLT+ with all the options that I know of and I didn't have it.

Both of my D's have them as well. I love them because I can adjust the radio without taking my eyes off of the road. This is a great safety feature if you ask me.

Its not a very popular option but the controls were on the back of the steering wheel. The left side was up and down for seeking tracks and right side was up and down for volume control.

If you have an owners manual you can consult that for more information regarding it and it shows pictures of where the buttons were located.
my 99 dodge Durango has them, as stated by someone they put them on the backside of the steering wheel. I love the conveneince of them but they aren't cheap to replace. Dodge company says $75.00 each (there's 2), i'm going to check around.
