Well, I was just trying to figure out everyway I could get better fuel economy. :P I upgraded from a 1995 GMC Suburban 5.7L which got like 8/12 mpg, so already I am able to save money at the pumps. That thing was evil at the gas station, it took everything in my wallet to fill up, now with the D, I for the same amount of fuel, I can double the mileage!

On a windy day, I could remove the engine and attach a sail and be wind powered. Unlimited MPG's there...

We werent trying to be smart, but beyond the basics like air filter/light payload/ and proper driving habits, there is not much that can be done for D fuel mileage.

Just get out and push it, you can get all sorts of mileage that way.
