Default Do i need a Tune up, fuel filter, fuel pump or what???

Hello everyone, well recently i had posted about my durango not starting up, and so far it have been, until yesterday... it had the same symptoms as my previous posts... u may have to do a search on my name or something....First i noticed the service engine light was on when i started it ( i just had a heater core put in as well), i had just got off work and went to walmart, everything was going well....when i got in, it act like it had no power and it was like the battery was drained.. then as i turned the ignition it was making a clicking sound, then as i turned it again its like a little life had got in it and the battery was charged again, but it wouldnt turn over... it had power but wouldnt start (turn over) so as i waited and tried again and again... it seemed to actually turn over, but then it died again.... then the next time i gave it some gas and it turned over but wouldnt stay started...Then the last time i held my foot on the gas as i turned the ignition and it stayed started...so now im wondering what it may be...Also I know the car sounds like it be idled really high when you accelerate... its sounds like when you drive it and it havent warmed up all the way, that type of high idling...thats why i was thinking maybe it need a tune up...last time i thought maybe it was the pcm mod... Does anyone have any suggestion... thanks for viewing and any opinions God Bless!
it's a 2000 Dodge Durango SLT 4.7L V8

1) you need to list all of your symptoms if you expect help, telling us to search for your other thread is not going to cut it.
2) i would start by putting a new battery in, and check the IAC motor, those are the two most common problems that fit what you described here.

Crank sensor maybe? I had the same problem before too, and once I replaced that, it worked like a charm.
