Default po500 and no spedo!

Hey all so i have been looking around and have seen other posts about p0500 being the rear speed sensor. My question is would this make my speedo not work at all?and it seems like my front brakes are on just a little bit(feel resistance while accelerating it seems)..both abs and prk light came on after i had to brake harder..thanks kyle.

Speedo doesn't work under 20MPH usually when the sensor is bad.

Brake issue sounds like a sticking caliper. Have it looked at.

A dead speed sensor will trigger the BRAKE and ABS lights to illuminate and if the speedometer doesn't work at all it sounds like both of the speed sensors are long gone.

Replace both of the speed sensors (one on top of the differential and one on the transmission) and reset the computer completely and while you're replacing the speed sensors, check for fraying in the wires or a possible short.

yup i agree w/ all that has been said, replace the speed sensors on the rear differential and the trans (only one sensor exists on top of the diff) and get those brakes looked at the caliper is not releasing all the way

The speedometer is 100% the speed sensors that have gone out. It happens and when it happens you just replace them, reset the computer, and be done with it.
