Just had to share...

While at Firestone today for an alignment check, I saw a full size Chevy truck (guessing ~2010) almost fall off a lift. It was in the air about 4 feet when the front passenger side went straight up toward the ceiling. Dumb a$$es!

Luckily no one was hurt and it was brought back down before it crashed to the ground. The owner was not there. Bet they don't share that info with them...

This is why at my dealership we have special "truck lifts" that we put the full sized trucks up on when were working on them. Of course, ignorance can really do some damage when you put 7,000 lb up in the air.

I don't think so but they immediately moved it to another lift.

i had something like that happen but only i was the one running the hoist. And it really wsnt my fault one of the lines plugged up and caused the lift to lift the truck uneven and by the time i noticed it was too late.

It didn't fall off completely; it was teettering though. I wish I could have taken a pic. There may have been some damage underneath, nothing I could see from a distance.

That's too bad because you know they didn't tell the owner and unless they look they will never know.
