Well I took the battery from the Mustang and put it in the D, same thing.

At this point I believe I'm looking at a bad Fuel Pump/Filter.

It is still drivable as long as I keep my foot on the gas, so I think I'll be taking it to the shop on Friday if I am unable to fix it. Let's hope it's not going to hurt the wallet too bad

Well hopefully the shop discovers that it is something cheap and easy to fix. I had a problem similar to what you are describing for a while with my Cutlass and it turned out to be a bad fuel pressure regulator.

Well guys, IT'S FINALLY FIXED!!!

I took it to the Mechanic my dad and I have been using for years, and as I was telling him the symptoms he stopped me dead sentence and said "IAC Valve". After telling him the current one was only 15,000 miles old, he told me "that's what you get for buying Auto Zone crap". I had the 2 year warranty and it was replaced for free, and after putting in, I get no more fail. The best failures are the one's that literally cost you nothing to fix.

Thanks guys for your assistance and idea's. It's always nice to have a group effort in troubleshooting issues, and you guys take the cake given your experience with one-off issues.

I'll still be replacing the battery when my funds have become more stable, but for now, the Durango keeps on tickin...
