Default Rear Heat.

2001 Dodge Durango 5.9. So my heat in the front is very hot(hotter than my moms brand new impala) but if i turn on the rear heat you can feel less air blow out of the vents in the rear then if it were set to cold and the air isn't warm at all. Any ideas?

The vents in the back of the center console are controlled by a lever that connects to a plastic connector. Take the box out of the center console and make sure it's still connected. Gravity does pull items into the deflector that blocks air off, sends it to the floor, or to the top of the console. Hope that helps...

BTW, If you have ceiling mounted air for the back, it does not supply heat.
