I don't know about your truck... But mine really doesn't like the ethanol-blend fuels. I try to ensure I'm filling up with non-ethanol gasoline.

We have 87, 89, 91, and 94 octane where I live... At most gas stations, The 87, 89, and 94 use 10% ethanol. The 91 octane does not.

SOME gas stations still sell 87 without ethanol, but they're few and far between, so I just make sure I read the pump before I fill up.

i too try to stay away from ethanol blends where ever possible, i loose 2-3 mpgs by putting e10 in my truck (yes that much, but then i always fill it up from 1/4 tank or less)

That is all we can find now here in Utah. The goverment is slowly pushing it into every state I heard but I don't know when the mandated date is, I think by 2014 or something.

I agree, At least in DFW area, nearly all pumps, they have a label stating up to 10 percent of fuel can be ethanol based.

NC doesn't require the label on the pumps and you have no idea what you're getting. It could be a 10% mix, a 15% mix or no ethanol at all. Go figure!

here in NJ it is required that the pump be labeled with the ethanol content if it is present, so far i havnt had too much trouble finding station w/o that crap in the gas.
