+1 I made the switch and won't go back to a "regular" oil again.

the best bet is probably mobile one, but i have been running shell in mine as long as i have been driving it with very good results

make sure to consult your owners manual for the correct weight, i believe it calls 5w30 and 10w30 acceptable for the engine, but there are two different charts in there, each one has a different preferred weight(idk about other years, but 02 does have this)

I just put Havoline conventional in mine and installed a Purolator Pureone filter. I would recommend the Pureone filters, they are one of the best and you can get up to four of them for about $3 each after rebate right now.

Since my 98 has almost 126k on it and I know that is has seal leaks, I will be sticking with dino oil. I am sure Mobil 1 would open those leaks right up.

I just use whatever is on sale at Walmart. Usually Pennzoil, sometimes Quaker State, and this weekend I just did an oilchange with Castrol GTX... I use conventional 5w30 and a cheap FRAM or K&N oil filter.

I love doing oil changes. It's such a quick and easy job, I can't believe people pay quick-lube places $60-$120 (depending on oil, filter, etc) when it's something you can do at home on the weekend for $15.00

I use Mobil One 10W-30 Fully Synthetic and usually get a Bosch filter.

I use Mobil 1 Full Synthetic with a Royal Purple filter. Royal Purple IMO makes the best filter and to those who think Mobil 1, K&N, and Royal Purple are all the same filter, you're wrong because I've cut open all 3 and they all look different in their own ways.

As for Bosch filters being re-badged PureOne filters, I have to disagree simply because about 5 years ago they were doing that but since then there's been tests done that in fact it depends on where you get it from that is what's inside the filter housing. Last I checked the AutoZone Bosch filters use the same filter element as a PureOne but I bought a PureOne and a Bosch from Wal-Mart about a year ago to cut it open and it was 2 completely different ballgames.
