Default led third brake light

hey guys, about a week ago i for some reason JUST figured out that my third brake light had been out for the whole time we owned it.. never payed attention and now i'm changing the bulbs. bought some led's online and not super happy with the outcome of brightness.. looking for it to really light up the world behind me (had a few people come close already) any suggestions as to where to buy/cost? thanks!

I have a full thread DIY on that light when I installed it on my D from a GB over at the DOC. I included pix, info, "gotch ya's", etc.

oh nice, can you post a link? love to read it! i just bought a set of bulbs online (ebay) and it was a classic blunder.. $20ish for white led's that are a real letdown after installing on durango.. love a better/brighter option..

That was in 2006 guys. I put together a group buy on those and headlights from one of my vendors at the time in California. We were getting them by the case right off the boat.

Today, just order one from eBay and follow my write up on the DOC. Everything should be in there.
