yeah... now im gonna have to replace the passenger side one to match... and get 3 new shocks for my rig... lol... the insurance evaluator comes to look at it on wednessday so hopefully it gets taken in to a shop soon after that to get fixed...
im really hoping he's not going to... from what i can see there really isn't much mechanical damage that i can tell... it bent the upper and lower control arms it looks like and not sure what else... slight body damage so who knows... im prayin that they dont... if they do im SOL for a car...
so the insurance evaluator from my insurance came today and gave me an estimate... looks like theres about 1900 dollars worth of dammages... now just waiting for a call from her insurance company to set up an evaluation and see what they say... if they wanna total it thier out of thier mind...
yeah... so itll probably be another week or two before i have my car back and running... it looks like it will take about 8 days according to my insurance estimator... so well wait and see what happens... and yes hydra... Lucky i am!
8 days is no big deal; they should offer you a rental. If they don't, you need to demand one. Besides, you're getting a new front end suspension
. Just make sure you have decent documentation of the damages before and after the repair to ensure that the shop doesn't take any shortcuts. We saw that recently with another member of this forum. He had a tough time convincing the insurance company that it was incomplete shop work.
