Yeah, tried that before anything else. I think I am gonna have to hammer a nail into the pulley, or drill into it.

Quick question:

Got the old water pump off, cleaned off old gasket. Now to install new pump, it came with a gasket. I am going to put rtv sealant on it. Do I use the old gasket and the rtv? Do I toss the new gasket and just use rtv? If I use both, which side of the gasket do I out it on, or do I put it on both sides?

Use it on both sides. Put RTV on the pump, then stick the gasket against it. Next, RTV the mating surface of the engine. Then you're ready to bolt it up.
