Default A/c help!!!!

i have a problem with my a/c. i recently bought my durango and the a/c didnt blow cold at all. just blew outside temp air. i put Freon in it figuring that would be the problem and it blew cool for like a minute. i go under the hood and find the low side port letting all the Freon out. so i was wondering if there was a way to replace it or replace the "schrader" i believe thats what its called.

You can replace the valve; they're cheap at your local parts store. However, you would be better off taking it in to be serviced than just recharging again yourself. Your system probably needs to be evacuated of moisture and contaminates. But, if you're low on cash and just want to see if you can get it running, you can give it shot.

Hope this helps.
