Unhappy whistle sound( puzzled)

Hello to all,I have read several post on here in regards to certain noises from the rear ,hubs,ect....Well I am lost for words and thoughts.I am hearing a whistling sound from my 2002 4X4 dodge durango,I have changed the front hubs, the sound is still there,I took the truck to a trans shop to see if it was the rear or the transfer case or even the trans.Nothing they said it was fine,They even took me on a road test to show me diff things, like shut the truck off while we where moving to take a load off the rear as well as to see if it was a vacuum leak.Everything checked out fine. But where is this whistling sound coming from, have any 1 on here had a strange problem like this????????Help could rear drums make a whistle sound???searching for help/

sounds are a very difficult thing to diagnose over the internet because each person describes sounds a little bit differently, and without hearing the sound and having an idea of where it is coming from its very difficult to diagnose because as far as i know sitting here it could be coming from anywhere on the vehicle, videos with the sound in them HELP, but dont guarantee that someone will have an idea.

that said, are you sure all the doors are closed all the way?(liftgate included) did you add anything which sticks out on the outside of the truck? (new mirrors, roof racks, ect ect) did you recently get new tires? (i have heard some people describe what i know to be tires as a whistling sound)

Default sounds

I bought the truck thinking it was a vacuum leak, come to find out it i s not a vacuum leak.I have added nothing to the truck. It has a tow package on it not sure whether that would make a diff. The sounds seems to be coming from the middle of the truck towards the rear.O u only hear the whistle sound around 25-40 miles per hr,really weird they had it on a lift check sound from the rear, diff case and trans. They said everything appeared to be n perfect condition. They told me just ride it out they did not see anything that would affect the driving of the car.I am really puzzled.

tires can make all kinds of different sounds, so yes they can make a whistle sound, what tires do you have on the truck?

Tires that have a deep tread make a whistling/humming noise. This could be your problem!
