2000 durango not blowing air
ok guys once again i need u all help.
on my 200 durango there is not blowing air, at first it would stop and come back on, than the pauses were longer, now no air flow when on ac very lil air, but on vent lil more flow. speed set to hight. now i keep reading bout the resisto and the pics i see look nothing like what isee in my truck. can u guys help me out to find the resister.
someone posted to get at it from the outside removing wipers and cowl. is this how to get to it? if u have pics even better thanks

ok, at first it would sometimes not come on at all, than it went to speeds slowing way down and than it would speed up to normal, now its blowing very lil air when on "vent" when i select any actual "ac" setting it stops. so blower is spinning but very very slow. safe to assume its the resistor?
my other question is where is the resistor on a 2000 durango. i can find it when i removed the glovebox where ive read its suppose to be.

It is under the passenger side cowl cover (plastic piece under the windshield wipers) and you access the resistor there.

There doin great!......But with them in my stomach even better!......But yea I have that problem when I'm a lil tipsy, but when I read it it sounded great at the time........
First you have to remove the Neg batery cable!
Next remove the wipers. Now these photos I got from a Jeep site so bolts and placing of screws could be different and most likely are. The hardest part I think is removing the wiper arms.

Then you have to remove the cowl cover:

thanks hyda,
did find and removed resistor went to junk yard and got one, but it turned out to be a 98 model with 4 prongs on resistor, mine has 5 on it. when i changed it just to try it out no air blew. when i had the original one very lil air blew. so comfirmation of resitor being bad?
