I have a 2000 Dodge Durango with a 4.7. Sometimes when I get off the freeway and come to a stop the engine slows and shuts off...It starts up fine but at idle it wants to quit.

Any ideas? It has done this for a while.

 

a bunch of things, could be an IAC valve, could be a TPS could be as simple as a dirty TB, or even a bad battery.

I would start with cleaning the TB, then the IAC then the TPS bc if it were the battery i would expect it to do it more consistently
