Default onboard diagnostics

finally letme enter a thread emissions codes i guess . here they are p0440 evap sys perf
p0441 evap purge flow monitor

ok no clue what they are where they are or how to repair them hopping some of u guys might the mechanic ive gone to doesnt know either and im sure hes not dodge certified this check engine lite has been on since two weeks after we bought it 6 yrs ago had friends with a garage if u know what i mean

Unsure, as I'm not an emissions man but it sounds like your purge valve is bad as I've said in my PM's.

i would start by reading the threads in the FAQ section on the evap canister under the truck, its about under the drivers seat. The performance code is likely a very small leak in the system.

the next thing is to check the connection (clean up the connection while you are there) on the purge solenoid and the leak detection pump, if that doesnt do it replace the solenoid, then the pump (do one step at a time and reset the computer to see if it comes back)
