rear ac works fornt doesnt?

Default rear ac works fornt doesnt?

ok so it been hot as ***** the past few days and the other day it started to rain and no ac up front so i figured the it had a leak put the gauges on it and its still charged so i checked the rear ac and it blows cold air the front doesnt it i turn the **** from cold to hot i can hear the door so can anybody please help???

dust/lint ect jammed in the evaporator? unfortunately i havnt seen an easy way to clean it.

check the auto parts store someone on here got some cleaner for the evap core said it was a foam and work really well ill try and find the post

that makes sense is even went as far as disconnecting heater core lines and still just luke warm air

Does your freon system still have original freon in it? If so it could just need to be re-charged with fresh freon. Also, is your compressor cycling correctly?

i just recharged it this summer because it was low and as far as i know it is but the rear air blows cold whats normal for the compressor to cycle?

If the rear air blows cold it sounds to me like you have a blend door issue. When you say you can hear the door do you mean you can hear the panel door that directs the air flow or the blend door because you shouldn't be able to hear the blend door opening and shutting..?

well when i twist the **** from cold to hot i hear something im not sure what but it can be running and if i turn it to hot almost instantly blows hot air well when temp it up that is

It's just a vacuum actuator and does not mean that it is fully opening or shutting the blend door to one side or the other. Honestly, it sounds to me like you have an issue with that blend door.

Is there any way i can just slide it over to get ac until i tear the dash apart in fall to do the heater core? lol
