Default Any ideas?

My 2000 5.9l durango has a little trouble starting and the rpms fluctuate up and down at first untill the truck has been running for a little then drives fine.
Any ideas on what the problem could be?
I'm a little stumped at the moment
Thanks

Could also be a weak battery...

+1 on both of those, the top 3 causes of this

the battery may pass a load test and still be 'bad' by the standards of these trucks

Clean the IAC and the Throttle Body by removing it. Have the battery load tested at least.
