PS pump or:

(this is kinda funny) a clogged air intake will give a whistle sound. Replace the air filter.

Old School<-----Had that same issue with the A/C pump on my car.....LOL

+1 hydra... will also make a highpitched noise if the airhat isn't seated correctly... i had that problem after cleaning the tb and it kept whistling...
