so i need to replace my fender that got buckled by the jetta and i dont know how much its gonna cost me to either rebuild the fender myself or buy a new one but ive been entertaining the idea of trying to get fiberglass fenders for the front... now ive been searching and ive only found them for dakotas of the same generation year. now will a fender designed for the dakota of my year work for my durango? cause their pretty much the same body style on the front end correct am i not? if i cant then im tossing arround the idea of building my own fiberglass fenders for it.

 

You may not agree with this method but, i checked on www.carpartswholesale.com and after entering info for a 98 durango, and a 98 dakota; they listed two(2) different part numbers. It might be just a simple difference.

 

I think the 1997-1999 Dakota was the same as 1998-1999 Durango??????


I would just do some junk yard pulls and be done with it, besides you could find some the same color!

 

+1 hydra, it will be a lot easier to just find some the same color and be done with it.
