Well guys last monday I purchased this ole girl from the salvage auctions for 1k after fees. Shes got some body damage but gonna restore her to her prime. Also planning a stupid large audio system. Will consist of 4 75 ah data safe batteries located in the hatch, 2 memphis mojo 15" subs d2's, a ap3000.1 3000 watt rms yea rms not max amp, alpine head unit, and a custom box built my myself(I do this as a side business and have many many happy customers. Pics to come as work gets started.

 

Got the batt box almost all built. Also picked up the batts the cd player and 40 foot of 1/0 wire. Getting the box design going and may start box construction tomorrow.

 

Also here is my score from pull apart 2 hatch shocks, left rear panel mud skirt trim and left front fender mud skirt and a gauge cluster trim panel in wood grain. I couldnt help myself I like the way it looks. Glad I got it.

 

Well the build has hit a set back. I tried putting on the new door today and it won't line up wont shut. So ima go to my buddys house later today and hook a come along up and see if we can get something straight and get her to shut.

 

Door problem fixed. Having box design done and will continue to build.

 

Yesterday got more work done on the batt box. Also finished installing the cd player, ran all the amp wiring also ran new wiring to the doors for the components. Pics to come later.

 

Ok well finally found a box designer. It should be almost done. Also I finished the battery box, I got it all wired up, my amp also came in today so I mounted it where I wanted it. I ended up putting vinyl on the batt box. Looks pretty good for my first have at it. I will be painting the box though. And plans changed on it I am now going to use 2 6" flared aero ports. I also ended up ordering 2 sets of cadence components and will be powered by a cadence zrs cp amp. Should be nice when finished.

Are you going to get a service manual and re-torque all the bolts in that truck once you fire up those subs? Just kidding, looking good. Its a nice clean install it looks like.
