Default RWAL Diagnostic Connector

I have a 1999 Durango 5.2 with rwal and my abs brake lights come on intermittantly but i have no abs regardless of whether they are on or not. the abs sucks and i dont care to have it but i want the lights to go away and the main reason is that i just got a superchips tuner and i tried to correct the spedo for the big tires i have on it but it said "no abs module present on vehicle". i have a chilton repair manual and it says if you ground the rwal diagnostic connector you can get the codes when the abs light flashes but it doesnt say where the connector is. i contacted the local dealer and he didnt know so i was wondering if anyone here might. thanks in advance.

Try turning the ignition key on and off three times, and on the third time keep it on. It should tell you code where your miles are.

unfortunately if you don't know anyone with the expensive abs reader there isn't a way to pull the codes with out going to a shop.

Could just be the module, replace with one of the exact same year and brake type from a junk yard. "1999 Durango 5.2 with rwal"

A 4 wheel style will not work. Part numbers do not need to be the same as long as it is the same thing and type.
