Today I ordered up a TCM from a jeep to install in my Durango. I'm sure you may have read about it before, But basically it is supposed to give me 4 + O/D instead of the 3 + O/D the 45RFE comes with. I've done months of research and It will work with 2001 Durangos/Dakotas and even in the 4.7 Rams with the 45RFE. So you are saying that you are putting in a tcm with programming for one more gear than the transmission has? Let us know how it goes.
