Seen pics of 680 yet as it comes out of the water? Looks like we have a new rock crawling park..

Clear or Black,

Chrome would be Mexi-fixed fixed on a mostly red/black truck. For that matter the smoke lights look mexi as well, just not as bad. Clear would be the best.....IMHO

Ha, not many other than what the news shows, but I live in west Omaha and have no reason to go out that far, unless i'm visiting family in CB. In any case I could accept a new rock park in the middle of omaha. . . .

Well then Hydra, do YOU have any suggestions for clear lights, that aren't "Mexi-Fixed" that also don't cost 300?

All you had to do was ask.......

These would be the easiest to install because they are 2 piece and basically what I had on my old Durango (1998).

Here are 1 piece which are hard to install:

This was my Durango with them:

And tail lights are the same as Indy's, but I had mine first............Mine were black background (smoke altezza).

Hydra,

You tell me my choices are mexi fixed but then suggest to me the exact same thing?

TDC,

If you prefer HIDs and the funky looks they offer, then more power to ya. I just want a cheaper alternative then getting my current lights restored, and I want something clear.

joe, how is a new set of lenses cheaper than a $20 headlight restoration kit an hour of your time??? is your time worth over $100 an hour?? (really it will probably take you longer than that to install the one piece units)

I've bought a few restoration kits for my Durango and none of them have done a good enough job. In any case I want clear headlights so it doesn't matter.

I also don't understand how the one piece units are so much harder to install. I would assume that the bolts for the headlight and turn signal assembly would be used for the entire single unit so installation shouldn't be that difficult. . . .

I'd go with the clear on that D too. If you had the black flares over the wheel wells, like mine - I might be inclined to go with the black - and personally, I would!

That's not mine, but that's what I was talking about with the black trim over the wheel wells.

I could take a picture of mine, but it's stuck at the grocery store! lol, could be worse..
But go with that you think will look nice man, it's your ride and you'll be the one admiring it mostly..

Nice looking D too Hydra - I hope to get mine looking like that soon. It's in good shape, but I need to snazz it up some, maybe I'll get me some black headlights - mine are starting to get a bit of a worn look to them.
