take a picture of where it sits and we will let you know.

in my case the problem was a bad oil pressure sensor.

take a picture at idle and with the engine off.

I have a question about oil pressure too but didnt want to make another thread about it. I was driving my D and had the runs so I was haullin butt to get home and when I got close I floored it to about 80mph then slowed down and pulled into the drive, and to top it all off when I stoped the oil pressure went to zero, the check guages light came on, and chimed. I shut it off and when I came back out I checked the oil, and it was a little low so I topped it off and started it up, and it took a few secs but it went back up to normal.

Its had the oil pump replaced twice I think, and the pressure sensor a while back but not after it dropped to 0.

Its been fine so far but what advice can you give me besides stay away from spicy foods?
