ABS & Brake Light Help
To make a longer story even shorter, I recently replaced the PCM in my wife's 'Rango. Truck runs fine, but the "ABS" and "Brake" lights now come on in the dash cluster.
Used the search function, found that the likely culprit was the ABS/Speed sensor. Replaced that (thanks Hydrashocker for the AWESOME write up), but the lights are still coming on. No CEL, and no pending codes. The truck brakes fine (recently put in Hawk LTS pads) and everything seems OK. The lights seem to activate on time, they come on after about 1 minute of the truck running.
Any help would be REALLY appreciated.

Did you replace the sensor on the rear differential? If you didn't I recommend you replace it and the short harness on it. I had this problem for ages and swapped out the RSS and was still having the problem until the short lil harness was replaced then problem solved.
Check your fluid - about once a year mine gets low and both lights will come on. You might have already, but figured I'd mention it..
If that's good, maybe the sensor in the master cylinder that detects the level is acting up - I assume that's where the sensor is for it anyway.

This is my response in the other thread, https://dodgeforum.com/forum/1st-gen...nsor-help.html But sense we are here we might as well stay.
Install the old PCM and see if the light comes on, if so you have an issue, if not it's most likely in the reman PCM, but that would be strange. The other thing you can do is reset the ABS module. I have had to do this before in my truck.
Open the hood and inside the PDC is the main fuse (I think 40 amp). Pull the fuse and replace with a different one and check it also for burned. Leave it out for about 2 minutes before insertion. I have seen fuses look completely fine but not enough amp's can get through because it is slightly burned and you can't see it.
