Default Max tire size on stock setup.

I am in the market for new tires. I was just curious what is the biggest tire i can use on the stock rims and stock suspension? Street with a little off road bite to it. Truck is a 2002.

31 inches with the stock suspension, cranking the t-bars 8 turns (for 2 inches) you can fit 32s without rubbing.

Unless you like the driving up hill look. They went on pretty easy for me.

A suspension that is still in factory spec will barely fit 32's. A torsion shackle lift is real easy and cheap and will avoid the rubbing (for the most part). Remember not to go any wider than 11.50's, otherwise you will need to do some trimming. Also if you choose to do a t/s lift then get your truck aligned right away.

Well there needs to be a slight correction here.

Now if the truck is in fact sitting at factory height and not sagged down or adjusted down by a lazy mechanic then yes a 32 will fit after cranking the t-bars 8 turns (for 2 inches) of lift. However if you start out at incorrect measurements then you either will not fit and have a safety issue under an emergency stop, or you might end up with a broken ball joint and other serious issues. Also after you crank the T-bars you need an aglinment, but you have to tell the tech what you did so he leaves the height alone and adjusts the caster/camber/toe only.
