I'll admit that i think my dad is stuck in the '70s. He knows the tricks from back then, when there wasnt such a thing as a PCM, and tuning a car was all by ear
Yea, well I used to tune those engines up as well and I know what I'm talking about. I was taught by and old school mechanic that was one of the best of his time period! Again the difference is you would take off the vacuum advance before doing this, however you cannot do this with the PCM, you simply can't adjust it because of the PCM interference.

I'm not going to sit around all night on this, so sorry to be a sour ***, but I'm done with this. The information is there, do what you will.

we do have one member (indydurango iirc) who runs the champion irridium plugs in his without any problems, however im pretty sure his engine isnt stock if you pm him im sure he will tell you. If you get the correct heat range i would expect they are fine, but ask indy exactly which plugs he is using

I know I'm gonna catch flak, but I'm experimenting with E3's and they seem to be doing well so far, just over 10k on em'.

Enjoy spending the $9.99 per plug, for this next month it might help but when you get out of that month you are going to be worse then when you started and you paid for those plugs on top of it. Guess I'm going to bring the flack.......
