Got a strange one. My 2001 Durango has lately started to rev up to 2000 RPM and back down to 500 for about the first 10 seconds when I start it up. It doesn't matter if it's been sitting all night or run for an hour. When you first start it again, it cycles like that and then calms back down. Got any clues? Should there be a code in the system to tell me what's going on? It has about 68K miles and never been tuned up. Could that be the issue?
