Hi again

Have a 1999 durango 5.2l 4X4

been trying to find out why my cruise control wont work and where the fuses and such are.

Also my fogs won't turn on there is no problem with the wiring but like the cruise problem can't locate the correct fuses and such.

any help would be much appreciated.

Have you looked in the PDC or in other terms the fuse box under the hood. When you say the cruise won't work you mean what, like the light on the dash will come on but it won't engage or the light won't even come on. More info please

 

NO light on the dash, won't engage nothing at all. I have looked under the hood but the diagram on the underside of the cover is shot and can't read anything.

 

if the light came on but it didn't engage i would say its a bad vaccum line, but since the light doesn't come on then theres something hinky... download the repair manual from here...

 

Where can I find that?

And the Fog light problem is fixed bad connections on both lights.

 

I don't think the light comes on until it engages. Most likely your issue is a bad brake switch directly above your brake peddel. Replace and update.

 

The light comes on when you push the cruise on/off button and goes off well when you hit the button again. You will know when it engages because it will pull the peddle away from your foot momentarily. It sounds like the light is out or bad steering wheel controls.
