Default Brake Lights

Brake lights only work when brake is fully pressed and have come to a complete stop. I figured it was the brake light switch so I put in a new one. Didn't fix the problem. I am dumb-founded. What else could it be? Is there a way to adjust the switch? I need this fixed in a hurry. It is a 2003 Dodge Durango Sport. Thanks.

SKDing, your 2003 is actually a 1st Gen Durango (last model year of the 1st Gens). I will move your post there.

Welcome to DF!

The new brake switch is self adjusting. When you hold down the pedal and install the switch, release the pedal and the switch will find its adjustment. Be sure to move the little black lever or the brake lights won't come on.
