Default TCM Code

Hi guy's and Gal's, I'm new to this sight so thanks in advance for any help given. I have seen the P0700 Tcm code mentioned in a post or two but never realy seen a direct answer to what it really means. I have a 2001 Durango 4.7 rfe 45 that comes up with P0700 internal TCM code. Is this a problem with the TCM itself or something else. Thanks again for any help on this.

P0700-INTERNAL TCM

That means the Transmission Control Module. Check the connections.

Yes the P0700-INTERNAL TCM means an internal problem, But you may have some other codes in the TCM and you would need to find out what they are and post.
