Cool 99 Dodge Durango SLT Body Parts Compatibility question

Greetings and thanks to all first and foremost. This is my first post to this Forum, so pardon my ignorance if this is a common question.
I have picked up a 99 Dodge Durango SLT that needs some work. The front right passenger fender needs to be replaced. I have pulled the part from a 98 Durango and was wondering if these parts are compatible. To look at them I'd say yes, but I don't want to pull the damaged part only to find that the replacement will not go on.
Thanks again!

A

Well thanks for the quick response, all the research I have done up till now says the same. That this part should fit. Funny, your posted photo is the color of the replacement fender I pulled at local U pick/pull junkyard. I'll let you know how it goes!
Thanks again..

yeah... should be as simple as just unbolt and bolt it back on... pretty simple... once you get to 2000 though i believe there are some minute differences

upload them to photobucket or similar and use the [img] [/img] tag line to copy/past and display them in the forum.

Welcome to the forum!

Yes, a 1998 and 1999 are the same. The differences came in 2000+ so you should be just fine.
