I also have a question about my tranny. I just had a tranny flush so it is not as bad, but for some reason when I give my rango he gas it starts searching for a gear. A good example is freeway on ramps. When I start going up an on ramp it just shifts down and then starts re shifting down over and over. Is this a shift sensor problem? If I hold my foot just right it does not do this. This also happens when I try to pass.

Tranny flushes are BAD! They tend to blow seals and don't use the right fluid. Also you probably should start a thread for this problem. Master_Tech is the tranny guru around here you PM him, he'll be able to help you.

There are very thin areas in the bodies and a flush fills them up. Once full, it proceeds to junk the transmission because of the blockages. Any Dodge forum search will have mentioned that a flush is a no-no.

Ok, now that I know tranny flushes are bad I won't be getting any more of them. My tranny still feels and shifts good (a little better) what should I do to make sure nothing happened during the flush?

You could have a good transmission shop look at it. Outside of that not much.

Drop the pan and replace the filter. Adjust the bands. Then refill with ATF+4 fluid only. Valvoline makes a Fully Synthetic that is pretty good. I would do this before the new fluid wears out the transmission and it fails.

Next you could try a TV cable adjustment and a transmission output sensor. Also lastly the issue could be a bad TPS sensor.
