This is true, by far the best thing to do is get 4 new tires and follow the manufactures rotation schedule and inflation recommendations.

hammer hit the nail on the head with the different brands issue, thats why you replace em all with the same size and brand of tire.

also it does not mean that you DID do damage to your t-case, but it is possible, i would try to minimize the damage and get 4 matching tires on there asap
