Default Solution for a lift?>

Hey all.So I have a 00 durango,4x4 4.7l V8 blue, leather.I want more clearance.I read 33s will fit with soime rub? Also i cant find any lift kits available...I was wondering if a ram truck lift kit will fit up,since they had the same frames then?...will torsion and shakles w/ body lift be good enough? Thanks kyle

The ram frame is completely different from the durango. To fit 33's it is best to do the body lift but if you don't off-road you may be able to get away with just the t/s lift.

Don't know if that lift will work but it should. You will have a much stronger setup to if you do a t/s and body lift. That will give you 5in of lift safely, if you modify the bumpers and possibly fenders you can fit 35's

Well that guy didn't know his *** from a hole in the ground!

First of all, to hold just the 6.7L motor (1,050 lbs dry weight) up a Ram has to have a 3/4 ton front end.

33s rub with the torsions cranked, worse with offset rims. Check my cardomain page under lvphotos. Stock with 31s,33s,lift with 33s and 35s full stuff with and without 5.5" Tough Country lift. 98/99 had steering box yours has rack. Wish I would had done the solid axle swap. I went the fiberglass fender route after getting hit in the nose.
