Default which TPS to buy "Wells or MOPAR" dodge durango 2001

hey guys, im been having some surge problems with my durango at idle and i believe it is my TPS because it has never been replaced and i hear they go out often.

however, after reading some threads acouple people said not to buy aftermarket TPS sensors because it dont shift good or something like that, i cant find exactly what the guy said so i dont remember his exact words but i remember just reading that.

so after looking online i got two choices to choose from "Wells or MOPAR" manufacturer of the TPS sensors for my dodge durango 2001 sport. which one is better quality? because the wells one cost $10 more than the mopar. but i dont want to go by price thats why im asking you guys.

also, last question, are both of these manufacturers i just listed "aftermarket" tps sensors? the guy was talking about? what manufacturer TPS sensor comes stock on my truck? is it one of the manufacturers i just listed above or no?

the mopar one will be an OEM replacement when in doubt go that route

btw MOPAR is part of Chrysler motors (the parts division iirc)

aftermarket means other then the factory parts. Anyway, the OEM works well, I used Duralast from Auto Zone and had no issues with it.

That's where mine came from.I heard Wells is actually making them for Mopar but I can't confirm that. The PO told me the A/Z part has a longer warranty also...

The gold series batteries from Auto Zone come with an 8 year warranty. = 3 years full free replacement and 5 years pro-rated after that. I always buy the largest gold series battery that can fit.

They surprise sometimes,I guess you need to ask and check who makes what parts for them...Some stuff is really good aftermarket....I have 2 years on all the Wells sensors I have in it(the p/o gave me all the reciepts)..if they would have done the battery I bet they'de have kept it though(hahahaha)too late...mine now....I got an Interstate battery, only cuz it's a drive for me to autozone,I have the same batt as you in my van though, with 3 amps and a cap drawin,(2 subs 6 speaks)it's been awesome,no probs at all....
