Yeah the Rain-X works good I juz don't like the orange stains after....I'll give the Purple Power a try and see how it does......around here we add half a bottle of 70 percent alcohol to what ever is in the res....usually keeps it from freezing unless it's really bad out....

I knew a buddy that used to do that and never had a problem. I on the other hand thought that would dry out the plunger on the pump motor and render it useless? But you are saying it works huh?

I do it if I'm stuck buying the cheap stuff. That crap freezes right up and makes things worse here on the coast.....yeah it works. I was nervous about it drying out the pump seals and plunger also but it hasn't happened yet, Doesn't mean I haven't shortened it's life though.....It's like some old trick I heard about years ago, like I said though,I only do it if I'm not at a store that sells better fluid....

That stuff was on sale $1.87 a gallon so i said might as well buy 12 since it was the limit. I like the stuff so far...

I like the Rain-X.
I hardly ever need to use my wipers when it's raining.

I might look at the stuff at Menards though if it's good to -35.
Living in Michigan no matter what you do you still have days when it freezes in the line and won't spray the window.
