Default 2001 Durango radiator drain petcock.

Hi Guys,
I went to drain my coolant yesterday and found out that either the previous owner or someone else broke off the tab to the Radiator drain petcock. Does anyone know where to buy another one. I guess I will have to try and drill it out to replace it.

Thanks,
Bill

I have seen replacement radiator drain petcocks but never tried them. NAPA sells them.

Just pull the hose. If it is a 5.9L that will drain it all out. I found the petcock to be a PITA and apparently so did your previous owner.

LOL..............+1 Indy!

I used them back in the day in old trucks and finally came to the realization that they take too long and its a huge PITA to do, I always open the radiator cap and pop the lower radiator hose off and it's empty in just a few seconds.
