I've had an xplod for a while and just never got around to installing it into my 98. today i went and got the kit and the harness and was pretty excited to get it going. The first issue i came a cross is there's nowhere in the new stereo to put the ground so i just scratched it around to get a ground and got sparks and nothing happened. I kept trying for a while and then got the cd player to make noise from inside the radio. Then it all stopped and now I'm getting nothing again. Second is I can't get a ground for some reason when the antenna is plugged in. ill be getting sparks from the ground wire as i wiggle it on the metal bit as soon as the antenna is plugged in I get nothing. I've already checked and replaced both fuses and cant think of anything from there. Any help is appreciated.
