Default Common passenger side water leak when it rains

Does anyone know where the water is coming from in my Dakota and Durango?. 2000 Durango and 1997 Dakota. Both passenger side front floor pans fill with water every time it rains. Both the carpets are ripped up and the water is definitely coming from under the dash. It started in both vehicles at the same time, and now it happens every time it rains. Is there a common spot up maybe where the cabin air comes in that it leaks? I know there are drains up there, do they plug often. I had this problem in a Jeep and one of the drains had a leaf crammed in it so the little pan would fill up with water, then run in the air vents. I can't find any blocked drain holes on either of these, they are both open, but both get water inside the cabin. Both windshields are sealed tight, no cracks. Weather stripping is new and seals tight. I can't figure it out.

Take off the front cowl and check the drainage under the window at the metal overlaps. Re-silicone the overlaps.

One trick you might be able to use is pour some soapy water on that area and use a compressor with the doors and windows closed and push air upward toward the leak, bubbles will form where the leak is.

You need to remove some panels and do a water test and see where your leak is coming from. You may also remove the kick panel on the driver side on the dakota and see if the CTM is also wet from the water.

I pulled up all the carpet inside, removed the wiper arms and cowl, then started spraying everything with a hose. I sprayed on the roof and let it run down the passenger side and windshield for about 20 minutes, with no signs of a leak. I then sprayed inside the "water tray", trying to avoid spraying directly into the air intake. I watched the water run around the intake and out through all the little drain holes. Again, nothing inside the vehicle. I sprayed in the fend and in the door, spraying everywhere rain would get to plus more. I could not get a drip inside the truck. I gave up and put everything back together, it hasn't leaked since then...
