Crank or cam sensor? I'm not an expert on the electronics of these things (yet), but if it's got some fuel pressure at all, it should at least try and fire a little, I'd imagine. Don't these things throw a code if a sensor goes bad? And have you checked for fire from the plug wires? If you can get good quality and consistent spark, then it's probably a fuel problem. If you don't get spark, then either a coil or a sensor seems the most likely culprit.

check for spark at the plug wire (pull a plug and put it into the coil wire and hold it to the block while someone turns the engine ove ryou should be able to see spark) if this doesnt work try it using the wire going from the coil to the cap(if you get nothing here your coil is shot), it could be all you need is a tune up with new plugs, wires, cap and rotor
